Organizational Tip of the Week

Week 2

By Macaroni Kid January 25, 2012

Each week I will feature an organizational tip of the week. These were all submitted by Macaroni Kid publishers from across the country. If you have an organizational tip to share, post a comment or send me a note at lauram@macaronikid.com

Week 2:

Sorting and Minimizing Room Clutter

I do ONE ROOM at a time. Sometimes I slip and try to do my daughter's room while doing my own room... it just doesn't work. While in each room, I take 3 bins with me. Not big huge rubbermaids or anything but not tiny either. One for "toss/throw away", one for "belongs elsewhere" (like for that stuff that should be in my room but finds its way to our daughter's room) and one for "donate". That way I don't have to keep leaving the room to throw stuff in the trash or take where it belongs because when I do that, I get side-tracked. -Natalia, Reno/Sparks, NV
