There are lots of places to go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas! The preserve's 8.5 miles of trails are open for skiing and snowshoeing with adequate snowfall. Be sure to check their Facebook page or website to make sure trails are open. Trails are open daily, year round, from dawn to dusk.
4815 N Lynndale Drive, Appleton, WI Read MoreThe IWSC has 20KM of groomed cross-country ski trails with loops suitable for all skill levels and all ages. 6.5KM of the trails are lit for night skiing.
E398 County Rd MM, Iola, WI Read MoreThe Valley Trail in the Upper Woods of the Conservancy Zone is an ideal trail for snowshoeing. With ample snow (8"), snowshoeing is allowed on any trail. Nature Center Building hours are Tues-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm and Sat 10:00am-3:30pm (Closes when KASD closes for weather). Trails are open 6:00am-11:00pm year round.
1000 Beaulieu Court, Kaukauna, WI Read MoreState Park Vehicle Admission Sticker is required. Six miles of trails are available for cross-country skiing. 3.5 miles of trails are available for snowshoeing. Snowshoeing and winter hiking are also allowed off-trail in the park, except on the groomed ski trails.
