This collaborative initiative among local historical societies/museum/historical sites has a goal of increasing attendance at all of the participating sites. We encourage people to take advantage of close-to-home fun this summer. This is a great activity for families, as most sites are free to visit. There are so many historical treasures in our local communities and I want to raise awareness to those that may not know about them.
Participating sites include:
- WAUPACA - Holly History & Genealogy Center, Railroad Depot, Hutchinson House
- NEW LONDON - Thern Farm, Historic Village,
- CLINTONVILLE - Four Wheel Drive Museum (FWD), Historic Village, Museum on Main
- IOLA - Historic Village & Museum
- SCANDINAVIA - Historic Street
- TIGERTON - Tigerton Area Historical Society
Throughout the summer (June 1 – Aug 31) you can visit these sites and receive a stamp on a postcard. Postcards are available at all participating sites. Once you have received at least 5 stamps you can return the postcard to be entered into a drawing.
