It's rummage sale season again and there are lots of nearby city-wide rummages going on this year! I love city-wide rummage sales! And I bet a lot of Fox Valley area parents do too! No matter where you live in the Fox Cities, you know that driving to a nearby town's city-wide rummage sale will be worth your time.
I had an interesting conversation with a friend from out of state. She said they call them garage sales or yard sales where she lives, but not rummage sales. I argued that doesn't make sense because the garage or yard is not for sale. Further confusing, my husband, who is from the western side of Wisconsin, says they call them thrift sales out there. Whatever you call them, there's a lot of other people's stuff for sale at once in these neighborhoods! You can't beat the convenience of a city-wide (or even neighborhood) sale!
